How I come along side you
I have experience working with adults and children in mental health services in various settings. I've most recently worked in residential and outpatient therapy for adults struggling with addiction. Other areas of focus have included children, adolescents, couples, and families. I have experience in outpatient therapy, school-based services, in-home therapy, inpatient, crisis line, and a family abuse sexual treatment program.
I have my bachelor of science degree in community psychology from St. Cloud State University, and my master of arts in marriage and family therapy from Argosy University. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I use a person-centered approach from a family system perspective.
I am a board approved supervisor for the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health.
